Cairde Palestine are a diverse community of Palestinian solidarity activists with one common goal, to support a Palestinian-led strategy to end Israeli Apartheid and bring about freedom, justice and equality for the people of Palestine.
CAIRDE is the Gaeilge word for friends and this concept is key to the success and sustainability of our movement. We want to grow a community of grass-roots activists who share in common a passion for the Palestinian cause for freedom and self-determination.

Our Goal is to maximise awareness of BDS in our local communities. That’s why our focus isn’t only on establishments that stock Israeli goods, but on those that don’t! We want to turn every corner shop, hairdressers, barber shop and café into somewhere where people are talking about BDS.
Miss Ireland - Please Boycott Israeli Apartheid
For decades, Israel has used cultural whitewashing to present an image of itself to the world as a just and free society, but that is far from the truth. As recently declared by B’Tselem, the Israeli human rights organisation, Israel is a racist apartheid state that brutally oppresses millions of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza whilst continuing to expand its illegal settlement enterprise. Israel’s treatment of people in Gaza is akin to genocide and Gaza is in a constant state of humanitarian crisis.
